I wrote a while back about my dilemma of buying wrapping paper for a wedding. I chose not to buy it because the friend I was with hadn't been invited and I didn't want to create possible hurt feelings.
We were just on the phone and she directly asked me if I were going to the wedding. As I said, I wouldn't lie, so I said "yes I am". She said "oh good, I am too"!
So I think we both chose not to mention it because we didn't want the other to be hurt. Isn't that a nice kind of friendship to have?
And neither of us had to cut our hair!
