I have always wondered something. I don't know if anyone will ever have a real answer because it is one of 'those' questions. But here goes.
How can they say that everyone has individual fingerprints? I don't think it is even possible to say it for all people on the earth on a given day, but no one could ever know if my fingerprints were a match with Abraham Lincoln's cousin! Know what I mean? It may sound frivolous and fairly unimportant, but fingerprint evidence puts people in jail for the rest of their lives.
Is there a way that I am unaware of that people really can know that no two fingerprints anywhere in the world are a match?
