Today we had a field trip and part of it took place a a local park. The kids were playing on a piece of playground equipment that had steps., slides, tunnels etc. I laughed a lot when one group came running over to me to tell me they were going to 'play Titanic'! They were quite excited. The thing that made me laugh is when one boy said proudly "and I get to be the captain"! The others all smiled, but then said "don't forget....we ALL get turns to be the captain of the Titanic!"
Maybe they should rethink their goals?!?!
